Day rates for film direction, hands-on creative direction, and senior motion & VFX work — across live action, traditional VFX, and AI-assisted production.

DAYRATES

  • Directing the project end to end. Includes pre-production, grading sessions, and feedback sessions with the team.

    €8,000 per shoot day

  • Conceptual thinking, pitching, style frames, feedback, and creative direction — plus guiding the team and hands-on work: editing, overseeing, compositing and 3D where needed.

    €1,200per day

  • Senior After Effects, senior Cinema 4D, compositing and finishing. Hands-on craft on someone else's direction.

    €850per day

DETAILS

Included

AI generation credits / render compute — are built into every rate. No metered tooling, no annoying surprises afterwards.

Overtime

Beyond the 10-hour day, billed per hour at 1.5× the hourly equivalent.

Lead €180 · Craft €130 /hr

Half day

Up to 5 hours, single session.

50% of day rate

Weekend & public holidays

Saturdays, Sundays and Dutch public holidays.
1.5× day rate

Travel days
Full days in transit, no production output.
50% of day rate

  • All rates exclude VAT (BTW).

  • A day is defined as 10 hours.

  • Director days are all-in and project-scoped — overtime does not apply.

  • Travel and accommodation billed at cost.

  • Licensing & buyouts quoted separately.

  • Surcharges combine where applicable (e.g. weekend overtime).
